Mahaweli Reach offers a formal dining restaurant overlooking the river or a more casual snack opportunity in the Bar-lounge for a light lunch.

A buffet lunch and dinner of international and Sri Lankan cuisine is avaialble daily which is ideal for toursists on the move and seeking good value.

The a la Carte menu is very disappointing although there are plans to develop a new fine dining restaurant in 2006. the wines are limited and rather pricey.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.

The main bar/lounge lies beside the flood-lit pool and is very relaxing for pre dinner cocktails. A neighbouring billiards room entices late night players.
